Comparative Study of Molecular Interaction in Ternary Liquid Mixtures of Polar and Non-Polar Solvents

Ultrasonic velocity measurements, density and viscometric studies were conducted for the ternary mixture of pyridine toluene separately with N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF) in butanol, at different temperatures concentrations component liquids. Using these basic experimental data, various acoustic thermodynamic parameters, such as adiabatic compressibility (β), free length (Lf,), volume (Vf), etc. calculated. Also, Excess thermo-acoustical parameters calculated from experimentally measured data. The outcomes expressed terms molecular interactions variations under varying solute concentrations. A comparative study is discussed. Variation above mixtures indicative nature between components liquid mixture. Concluding remarks regarding intermolecular are provided.
